Mt. Timothy: Unhurried and Unworried Skiing in the South Cariboo

Mt. Timothy is a member of the Mountain Playground Group, an international consortium of 8 like-minded community ski areas banding together to drive down expenses while increasing efficiencies and profits, working on large scale initiatives, as well as increasing market awareness.

Mt. Timothy was built in 1987 by community volunteers who wanted at ski area in their region.

Today, residents of Williams Lake, 100 Mile House and the South Cariboo enjoy “Unhurried and Unworried” skiing for all abilities.

Entrance to Lodge

Mt. Timothy is a non-profit society run ski hill. All season pass holders automatically become members, allowing them to elect the 11 person board. All profits are reinvested into the ski area.

The beautiful log cabin main lodge was recently expanded and can host private parties, weddings and other event rentals year round.

In 2004, a fixed grip Triple Chair was installed providing better access to the top of the mountain.

Droping In

With a base elevation of almost 1,400 meters and north facing slopes, the snow is well preserved.There is additional expert terrain accessible by a short hike.
